The 92Y has an impressive and storied history of lecturers and performers. We will be at the same venue which has hosted Dylan Thomas, Elie Wiezel, Bill Clinton, Ani Difranco,Francis Ford Coppola, Frank Gehry, TS Elliot and many others. Again we are pleased to be on hallowed ground. To make the evening even more exciting, the film will be introduced, and the Q and A will be hosted by Leonard Lopate from the Leonard Lopate show in NYC. This well known New York radio talk show host has recently interviewed guests such as John Updike and Francis Ford Coppola, and is known for provoking and lively conversations with noted intellectuals. But let’s not confuse this with a picture of God in outer space sitting on a throne. Downward causation is scientific, because we can show that there is a scientific source of causality other than upward causation. This is being demonstrated by science.”

Quantum Activism For Better Health and Healing

Health and healing the world over is in crisis primarily as the result of skyrocketing costs. I submit that the rising costs are fundamentally due to the exclusive use of costly allopathic medicine which has harmful side effects and, brings only temporary relief often not healing the disease which ultimately returns. Costs rise also because there is no real understanding of what healing consists of, or of what health actually is. As a result of this non-understanding there is very little investment in the idea of disease prevention. Health, as I will show, is when not only the physical organs function properly, but also when all our other “subtle bodies” function properly. Physical health is defined not only by the proper functioning of the physical organs, but also by the proper functioning of their correlated morphogenetic fields, and the correlated mental body that gives meaning.

We are tickled about the screening of the Quantum Activist which is to be followed by a question and answer with Dr. Goswami and the filmmakers on the prestigious campus of Princeton University. For Dr. Goswami, a pioneer in the field of Quantum Physics, there is an added significance to this venue; indeed for all who patronize the history of innovation in science, this is a special place. Princeton is one of the great academic centers for innovation in quantum physics. In addition to being the home and refuge of Albert Einstein for many years, the Physics department boasts over a dozen Nobel prizes including the recent work of Frank Wilczek and David Gross, as well as the ground breaking work of Richard Feynman on the physics of elementary particles which Dr. Goswami himself references.

The New York Open Center

Dr, Goswami will be giving a lecture on “The Scientific Evidence for the Existence of God” on March 19 at The New York Open Center; and there will be a workshop with him on the following day entitled “Quantum Physics and Spirituality”. The New York Open Center is a non-profit educational and cultural center in the heart of New York City presenting programs with a holistic message. It is the largest urban holistic learning center in the United States, and is interested in integrative approaches to healing the body, nourishing the soul and awakening the spirit. It is dedicated to a quest for meaning in this materialistic age - all of this, like the calm eye of a hurricane, in the middle of the world’s busiest city. This should be a wonderful setting for Dr. Goswami to offer his unique angle on these very issues.

A.R.E. Of New York – Edgar Cayce Center

Come join Dr. Goswami for a New York luncheon and lecture – there will be food for the soul as well as the body. On March 23 Dr. Goswami will have the honor of speaking at the A.R.E. of New York – Edgar Cayce Center. This will be an afternoon talk with a light lunch served.

Dr. Goswami and his tireless staff have managed to find another wonderful venue, indeed an oasis of peace and contemplation in the middle of the intensity known as New York City. The New York Theosophical Society located in midtown Manhattan will host a lecture by Dr. Goswami on the afternoon of March 21.

Italy: The Circle of Life Conference

Dr. Goswami will take part in an amazing four day event in the beautiful town of Trieste, Italy from March 25 to 28. The Circle of Life: Many voices One Song brings together a variety of thinkers, storytellers and practitioners from all over the globe. Working with the circle as their chief symbol, all life is seen in terms of a circle: the seasons, the moon, births and deaths etc. The circle also functions as a symbol of growth and exchange—there is interconnectedness when we form a circle with other people.

Quantum Activism in Florida

On April 17 – 18 in Jupiter, Florida, Dr. Goswami will host a special Quantum Activism workshop. Not only will participants become acquainted with the core principles of Quantum Activism such as non-locality, tangled hierarchy and discontinuity; but they will also explore the actual day to day nuts and bolts of how Quantum Activism can help us to live better.
