First of all, we would like to thank you for receiving us and mainly for your participation in the Legion of Good Will’s 1st World Fórum Spirit and Science, in October 2000, at the ParlaMundi of the LGW. Tell us about how do you feel in coming back to Brazil, launching the new edition of “The Self Aware Universe”, and also about the success of “Physics of the Soul”.

I feel great.  The Brazilian culture has always seemed to me to be open about such things as spirituality, survival after death, and alternative healing techniques that I write about.  It is nice that my belief is vindicated.

One of the themes that you are approaching in your visit to Brazil is “The Scientific Evidences about the Existence of God”. We are facing a moment in which some scientists have again brought into debate the issue of the non-existence of God and of the necessity of the definite separation between Faith and the Laboratories. How do you see this issue?

The God that quantum physics enables us to rediscover is  objective and so science can be done under Its umbrella.  Aspects of the quantum God such as nonlocality has been experimentally verified.  Scientists should be happy about it.

At once God is also the causal agent behind our creativity and spirituality which is really inner creativity; the dance of creation is a dance between our ego and God.  So people of faith should be happy about quantum physics’ rediscovery of God, too.  Their faith is an intuited invitation to participate in the creative dance with God.

Does your lecture bring answers to those who want to understand if there can be a relation between God and Science?

I certainly would hope so.  I’d like people to not only understand but also, based on their understanding, enthusiastically support the new integration and its many coming applications such as integral medicine and spiritual economics.

What are your the main scientific evidences about the existence of God that you present?

1. Nonlocality.  Brain potentials have been transferred from one subject to another while they meditate together and this without any electromagnetic signals suggesting signalless or nonlocal connection between the subjects.
2. The fossil gaps of evolution have been shown to be due to biological creativity.
3. Spontaneous healing for which there is extensive data, has been shown to be due to creative quantum leaps that people take.
4. Reincarnational data and data pertaining to near death experiences and channeling.
5. Efficacy of homeopathy and acupuncture.  I could go on and on.  All this is in a new book God is not Dead that editora aleph will publish in Brazil soon.
