After participating in several of your very worthwhile week-end workshops, I am experiencing a whole new level of living and excited as I anticipate even more profound opportunities opening…

So the goal of the quantum activist is to explore quantum possibilities and manifest these archetypes—good, beauty, truth, justice, and love—in his or her life as far as one can go. The means a quantum activist uses to achieve this goal are threefold—right thinking, right living, and right livelihood.

Bringing these three into alignment is a challenge and cannot be forced and I am finding that the more open I am to each of them the more they automatically align.

As I watch 4 surfers choosing the “right wave” opportunity to ride….it became an almost overwhelming VISUALIZATION of your teachings…..opportunities come unceasingly and my openness to the wave of opportunity determines so much for me!

The Future of Physics: from Symmetry to Consciousness

“Consciousness itself then is a conglomerate of possibilities, called a wave of possibility. How can a wave of possibility collapse another wave of possibility by looking or interacting with it? If you couple possibility with possibility, all you get is a bigger possibility, not actuality” Dr. Amit Goswami

In this essay I intend to lay down the most probable path the ideas on physics will take during the next 15 or 20 years, possibly earlier. I hold no major physics degree or possess the technical knowledge of higher mathematics, but following some logical deductions as I studied the development of physics I feel confident that my deductions are plausible. Also, in the book written by Einstein “The Evolution of Physics”, we may find some of the ideas for this composition. The idea of a particle moving and being affected by external forces is followed by the idea of the field. Later on, we encounter the concept of quanta. This is certainly a simplistic way to put it, but it suffices to demonstrate that physics is an evolving system.
If we look at the history of physics for the last 200 years, we see how the focus has been on unification of all the forces. In thermodynamics or electromagnetism we see how one force or type of energy is never created or destroyed, but only transformed. Einstein’s dream was to find the “Theory of Everything”, not far from today’s main goal in the 21st century. There have been two major theories that defy unification: Relativity and Quantum Mechanics. One deals with the very large, the other with the very small. But they both have something in common, the belief in symmetry. The general theory of relativity, quantum electrodynamics, electroweak theory, and even string theory, they all follow the main principle that there is symmetry in the world. They are all intimately related to mathematics. This may seem an obvious observation, but let me continue with the next step in the development of physics. After symmetry we find that the anthropic principle has been gaining acceptance. This principle states that a human understanding of the universe is not an accident. The universe knew that we were coming as I read once in an article. I believe that the gamma ray bursts which have an incredible power to destroy life as we know it don’t occur in our vicinity for a reason. These GRB’s don’t happen in our galaxy because we are here! There is a delicate balance between the miracle of life and the destructive power of a black hole. Physics has no alternative but to accept the anthropic principle as a law of nature. The evidence will continue to point to the fact that this universe is unique in terms of preserving life. A multiverse may be seen as an alternate explanation for why are there humans pondering about the origins of the cosmos, but it requires much more faith to be certain of infinite universes than to see this one as an universe tied to human understanding. All we need to remember is Occam’s razor in order to accept our one and only universe as the economical way to the truth.
Now, if we humans are an important part of the makeup of reality, then our very act of observation will be the next concept to examine under physical laws. Philosophy has already thought about it. Immanuel Kant wrote on how reason works and what categories define its boundaries. Our consciousness will definitely be the next step to be analyzed in physics. It has been somehow included in the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics. The observer affects the outcome of the experiment. But the next step will be focused not on the physically observable quantities, but rather on our conscious act of observation itself. What we loosely call an observation will be analyzed and tied to a wave function and there will be an action functional to describe it. Observation will be proved to be quantized and there is no such thing as infinite rigorous analysis. There is a limit to what we call reasoning.
Finally, this new understanding of our consciousness will have effects on the way we understand the structure of matter. The atomic world will be revolutionized just as it was when nuclear fission was discovered. Nuclear decay will be seen in a different perspective where the analysis of our consciousness will open the door to a more specific meaning of what we generally call observation.

I´m refering your web-movement Quantum Activismas a new cultural paradigm of The New Aquarius Era and as a cultural movement it promote new scientific basement for the future planetary sinarchy.
